Created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, Never Have I Ever is a coming-of-age comedy-drama series made for Netflix. Kaling and Fisher are also the executive producers alongside Howard Klein, David Miner and Tristram Shapeero.

The first season of the series premiered on April 27, 2020 followed by the second season on July 15, 2021. The show has received positive reviews from critics and currently holds an approval rating of 97% on Rotten Tomatoes and has been rated 7.82/10. Looking at the decent response towards the first two seasons, the makers have renewed the series for a third and fourth season.

Never Have I Ever Plot and Cast

The second season of Never Have I Ever premiered in July 2021 and the third season is yet to premiere on Netflix. The plot and events of Season 4 will be entirely dependent on what would happen in Season 3. Reports say that the third season will explore Devi’s romance with Paxton alongside Ben and Aneesa’s relationship.

However, it has been confirmed that the fourth season will be the final season. Kaling revealed in an interview that four seasons for a high school show felt like it made sense but they cannot be in the high school. Speaking about the importance of the series, she said that the great thing about doing it on Netflix is that they got to tell stories that people can’t tell in traditional net work shows and it feels good.

Coming to the cast for Season 4, we should get to see Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Poorna Jagannathan, Richa Moorjani, Darren Barnet, Jaren Lewison, John McEnroe and others in the lead roles. We can also expect to see some new faces.

Never Have I Ever Season 2 was released in 2021 and considering that, the third season should premiere in 2022. On the other hand, several online reports have stated that the fourth season is slated to release in 2023, although an official confirmation is awaited.
