The Octonauts spin-off premiered on September 7, 2021, on Netflix. Produced by Mainframe Studios and Silvergate Media, the series was renewed for a second season which is set to release in 2022. The show received decent feedback from critics and audiences and has been rated 7.4/10 on IMDb.

Octonauts: Above & Beyond Plot and Cast
The second season was confirmed in 2021, with a release date of May 2, 2022, confirmed on April 4, 2022. The announcement brought a new 1-minute clip including Captain Barnacles, Kwazii, Tweak, and Min on a mission atop a bridge with the TG-1 carrying a scratching tree belonging to a sun bear, Atif.
The 22-minute episode “The Rainforest Rescue” also got an early release on April 18th, 2022 on the Netflix Jr. YouTube channel.
Now coming to the cast, it includes Simon Greenall as Barnacles, Rob Rackstraw as Kwazii, Paul Panting, and Wayne Grayson as Peso, Keith Wickham as Inkling (Prof.) and Shellington (Dr). We will also get to see Jo Wyatt as Tweak, and Jenny Yokobori as Dashi (Previously Sauce).

Octonauts: Above & Beyond was renewed for a second season in 2021. The release date of the series is May 2, 2022, as confirmed on April 4, 2022.
The upcoming season is expected to consist of thirteen episodes like Season 1. Any further changes in the cast and plot are expected to be announced soon by the makers.
