Based on One Piece by Eiichiro Oda, One Piece is an upcoming fantasy adventure television series, made for Netflix. Oda is also the executive producer alongside Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, Matt Owens and Steven Maeda.
Hiroyuki Nakano announced back in 2017 that Tomorrow Studios and Shueisha would commence production of an American live-action television adaptation of One Piece manga series as part of the series’ 20th anniversary celebrations. The series is scheduled to premiere soon on Netflix.

One Piece Plot and Cast
One Piece is set in an alternate version of Earth, during the Golden Age of Pirates, where the ruthless pirates rule the seas, battling to claim the mythical treasure, called the One Piece, which once belonged to the greatest pirate of all times, Gol D. Roger.
Years after the death of Roger, a young boy named Monkey D. Luffy dreams of raising his own crew, and go in a quest to find One Piece, and declare himself as Pirate King. After consuming a devil fruit, Luffy is bestowed the power to make his body resemble rubber, granting him the strength to set sail across the dangerous seas and battle to become the next Pirate King.
Talking about the cast, we would get to see Inaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero Gibson and Taz Skylar in the lead roles.
One Piece Release Date
Netflix and the show’s producers have not revealed a release date for One Piece. Principal photography for the series began on January 31, 2022 and considering that, the series should premiere by the end of 2022 or the first half of 2023.
The new show is confirmed to have seven episodes and the rest of the details shall be revealed soon. It is produced by Tomorrow Studios and Shueisha.
