One Piece: Release Date, Trailer, and more!

Developed by Matt Owens and Steven Maeda, One Piece is an upcoming streaming television series developed for Netflix. The show has been executivwly produced by Eiichiro Oda, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, Matt Owens, and Steven Maeda. Tomorrow Studios and Shueisha are the production companies involved with the show. The upcoming series was announced in July 2017.

One Piece Season 1 Plot and Cast

The basic premise of the show focuses on the adventures of the fugitive Straw Hat Pirates, as they explore the dangerous oceans, lands, and beyond in search of the “One Piece”, a fabled treasure that will make their captain The King of the Pirates.

As of now, there are very less details available regarding the storyline of the upcoming series but we can expect the unrevealed information to come out in a few days since the show is going to be out soon.

Coming to the expected characters, it includes Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, Peter Gadiot as Shanks, Morgan Davies as Koby, Aidan Scott as Helmeppo, Jeff Ward as Buggy, Langley Kirkwood as Captain Morgan, Celeste Loots as Kaya, Bianca Oosthuizen as Sham, Alexander Maniatis as Klahadore, and many more are there.

One Piece Season 1 Release Date

The official announcement for the show was made by Weekly Shōnen Jump editor-in-chief Hiroyuki Nakano in July 2017 and in September 2021, the series revealed its first look at the logo for the series.

The filming for the show has begun on January 31 and wrapped up on August 22, 2022. One Piece is going to consist of ten episodes. The developers have not revealed any specific release date for the upcoming show yet but looking at the schedule, we can expect it to come out in the fall of 2023 or maybe in 2024.

Unfortunately, the developers of the upcoming show have not released any trailer or teaser so far since the show is still in progress. We can expect to have the trailer in the fall of 2023.
