OnePlus 6T Press Images leaked, confirms previously leaked Design!

OnePlus 6T

The OnePlus 6T is just two weeks away from the launch date of October 17th as confirmed by the company. We already know most of the things including its design and specifications thanks to the freshly leaked 360-degree renders and the battery pack. Now, we have the press renders of the device which gives us an exact idea of its final design.

OnePlus 6T

The leaked press renders come from popular German leaker Roland Quandt. As speculated, the device looks identical to the Oppo R17 Pro due to its edge to edge display with a tiny water drop notch and small bottom chin. At the back, the phone gets a vertically stacked dual camera set up (with a full stop on triple camera rumors) along with an LED flash and OnePlus branding, reminiscent to the OnePlus 6. The power button and the traditional alert slider is placed to the right of the frame while the volume rockers are present on the left edge.

The lack of fingerprint scanner on front and rear is again a confirmation to the In-display fingerprint scanner that has been already told by the company. Moreover, the press renders showcase the device in two variants namely Mirror Black with a glass body and Midnight Black with a metal body. This contradicts the previous rumors of the wireless charging as the metal back won’t support it and it will be wrong to assume that wireless charging will be exclusive to the mirror black edition as no company would do that for two different color variants at the same price.

Also, given the fact that OnePlus and Oppo being sister brands share the same sort of R&D and factories, OnePlus 6T is expected to have a 6.4 inches Full-HD+ OLED panel, identical to the one on the Oppo R17 Pro. The device is most likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB internal storage configurations.

The battery capacity, as leaked earlier will be 3700mAh paired with Warp Charge (re-branded DashCharge). We also may see an IP certified water resistance. Unfortunately, the device will skimp on a headphone jack for some weird reasons given by the company. Let us wait for the official launch on 17th of October. Till then, stay tuned!
