Ever since the OnePlus 7 series has unveiled, there are quite a lot of rumors and speculations around the OnePlus 7T. And, after teasing the device for a few weeks, the OnePlus 7T is finally released now. This is the first time since the OnePlus 3T, where the T series is getting a brand new chipset from Qualcomm Snapdragon.
OnePlus 7T Display and Performance
The OnePlus 7T features a 6.55-inch Optic AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The aspect ratio here is 20:9 and is almost bezel-less with 86.5% screen-to-body ratio, thanks to the waterdrop notch. OnePlus claims that the display supports HDR 10+ colors and has the 90Hz refresh rate.
The device is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor. Adreno 640 handles the graphic duties here. The Snapdragon 855+ is the latest and greatest SoC available in the market. OnePlus 7T can perform any tasks you throw at it and manages to deliver solid good frame rates while gaming. The device is made available in two variants. The standard variant now comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of onboard storage. The top variant comes with 8 GB of RAM and 156 GB of inbuilt storage.
OnePlus 7T Camera, Pricing and availability
As for the optics, the device comes with the triple rear camera setup. The primary sensor is a 48 MP unit with f/1.6 aperture. The secondary unit is a 12 MP sensor with F/2.2 aperture. The territory unit is a 16 MP ultra-wide sensor. The 16 MP front-facing camera handles the selfie duties. The inbuilt proprietary camera application is pre-loaded with a lot of options. There is also support for full-fledged manual camera mode. The camera also supports 720p slow-motion video at 960 FPS.
The device runs Android 10 out of the box with Oxygen OS 10 on top. OnePlus also claims that they have used a faster in-display fingerprint sensor this time. All this is backed by a 3800 mAh battery. And the device also supports 30W fast charging. The OnePlus 7T is available in two colors: Glacier Blue and Frosted Silver. The device will be going on sale in the Amazon Great Indian Festival. The device 37,999 for the base variant and 39,999 for the top variant.
