OnePlus teases Warp Charge-powered electric car, Is it real?

Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus appears to be all set for the April Fools’ Day. Following the same, the company has now teased the launch of an electric car that will be “Powered by Warp Charge” in official forums. OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei posted the message. The funny thing here is, the image which was published is similar to Tesla Y.

OnePlus Car- Happy April Fools

OnePlus is sure to fool the audience a little earlier than usual. But the company took the whole car thing to its official Twitter account. Conferring to the post, OnePlus is expected to unveil a car. The out of sight text in the image pronounces “Yes We Do Cars Now.” Well, just because the company had tied up with sports car making company- McLaren to launch 6T (McLaren Edition), it doesn’t mean that they can also do sports cars.

In OnePlus Forum Carl Pie states, “OnePlus is always looking for new ways to bring better technology. Today, I’m excited to share about our entrance into a different industry. We’ve taken the power of the Warp Charge and applied that to the road.” Carl also mentions, “In a few days, OnePlus will reveal more details of the world’s fastest charging electric vehicle. Every function of this vehicle will pair with the OnePlus devices for seamless control.”

OnePlus 7 Launch Date Reveal

Enough about fake stuff. Talking about the things that really matter, I mean the OnePlus 7. The image from the newest post on Weibo illustrates OnePlus box beneath a Red colour cloth. The text under the box says “April 1st”. Even though there is no confirmation, the company could inherently disclose the launch date for the impending OnePlus 7 device.

The post also takes in the hashtag #WarpTen and pronounces pre-release poster. At this moment, we don’t have much information regarding Warp Ten. But OnePlus 7 did leak a couple of times in the past. According to the leaks, the device might come with a whole bezel-less display with a pop-up selfie camera. And obviously, the phone will be powered by the latest and greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. As of now, we don’t have much information on the same. Stay tuned for more updates.
