OPPO Reno Specifications and Price leaked ahead of launch

OPPO will be unveiling its Reno smartphone on April 10 in China. Ahead of its launch, the specs of the smartphone along with its price tag have surfaced online. We have already seen the device’s camera samples revealing the 10X lossless zoom feature.

OPPO Reno Specifications and Variants

From today’s leak, the OPPO Reno will feature a 32MP Sony IMX selfie camera with f/1.7 aperture. Interestingly, Sony is yet to confirm the existence of the Sony IMX510 sensor. The device will sport a triple camera setup at the rear consisting of a 48MP IMX586 primary sensor, a 120-degree super angle wide sensor and a telephoto lens with 10X lossless zoom with 16mm-160mm focal length. The main sensor has an f/1.7 to f/2.4 variable aperture like the OPPO R17 Pro that was launched last year. As for the telephoto lens, it will offer the same variable aperture.

The OPPO Reno is expected to feature a Dynamic AMOLED display with a resolution of FHD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels). It will have HDR10+ support and equipped with a sixth-generation in-screen fingerprint sensor. It is said to be 15 times better than optical fingerprint solution that is found in currently available smartphones. The display will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The handset will come equipped with an x-axis motor instead of z-axis to deliver an experience like using a physical button.

Notably, the rear of the phone will also have the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and will be made of 7-series aluminum alloy. It will be very slim measuring less than 8mm and will be offered in gradient color options. It will house a Snapdragon 855 chipset supported by a Super Ice cooling technology. Furthermore, there will be a 4,065 mAh battery with support for 50W VOOC fast charging.

The handset will be available in three configurations: 8GB RAM + 236GB storage 10GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. There will also be a 5G variant which is expected to have a 12GB RAM and 356GB storage. The leak also reveals a Lamborghini version that will have a liquid metal body and 5,000 mAh battery. It will be arriving in two configurations: 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GBRAM + 512GB internal storage.

The OPPO Reno Light Deluxe Edition is another variant powered by the Snapdragon 765 Soc. It will also sport a triple camera setup with a 48MP IMX586 primary sensor, a 120- -degree super angle wide sensor and 5X lossless zoom telephoto lens. It will be available in two configurations of 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage, It will come with AK377A audio chip and a sixth generation fingerprint sensor. The rest of the specifications will be the same as the standard variant.

OPPO Reno Price (Leaked)

The Light Deluxe Edition with 8/128GB configuration is priced at 3,699 Yuan while the 8/256GB variant will cost 3,999 Yuan. As for the OPPO Reno, the base variant with 8/256GB configuration will be priced at 4,999 Yuan. The 10/256GB and 12/256GB will be priced at 5,499 Yuan and 6,999 Yuan respectively. On the other hand, the Lamborghini Edition with 12/256GB configuration will be priced at Rs 6,999 Yuan.

As for the leak, there is no official confirmation from the company. So we would advise you to take it a pinch of salt. The Bluetooth SIG authority also revealed a Snapdragon 710 edition of the phone. However, there is no mention of it in the leak.
