Oppo Reno Specifications leaked: Pop-up Selfie Camera, In-display Fingerprint Scanner in tow!

Smartphone makers have been coming up with artistic ways to design bezel-less devices. After a carnival of notched phones, manufacturers have started releasing fully bezel-less devices. These devices include pop-up selfie cameras as a substitute. Oppo Reno is going to be another such phone. That said, we now have the leaked Oppo Reno Specifications, covering the critical aspects of the device.

The Oppo Reno does look a bit strange, but it’s at least unique when compared to other devices. Slashleaks has posted a video showing off the slider mechanism. Love it or hate it, the sizeable pop-up camera has a few additional benefits too. That pop-up unit can house a speaker and front-facing flash without compromising that bezel-free look. Take a look at the video itself.

OPPO Reno Specifications (Expected)

The OPPO Reno boasts Dynamic AMOLED display with a resolution of FHD+ 2340 x 1080 pixels. Furthermore, the Reno is said to have HDR10+ support and will also bear a sixth-generation in display fingerprint sensor. The panel will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6.

Moreover, the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 855 SoC further aided by a Super Ice cooling technology. If reports are to be believed, a 4000mAh battery will back the phone.

Notably, the Reno will be available in three configurations: 8GB RAM + 236GB storage 10GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. There will also be a 5G variant which is expected to have a 12GB RAM and 356GB storage.

OPPO Reno Lite Leaks

On the other hand, two variants of the Oppo Reno have been spotted on Chinese certification authority TENAA’s website. These variants seem to belong to a Lite variant of the device. TENAA entries were spotted for two undistinguishable Oppo devices, i..e the Oppo PCAM00 and the Oppo PCAT00.

Rendering to listings, the phone boasts a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. Unfortunately, the front cameras cannot be spotted. Maybe this device will feature an alternative front camera arrangement. As per the AnTuTu listing, the Oppo PCAM00 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC. As of now, there isn’t much information available. Stay tuned for more details.
