Our Flag means Death: Plot and Cast
According to the sources, the plot of Our Flag Means Death will follow Rhys Darby as an 18th-century gentleman Stede Bonnet, who gives up his comfortable life and becomes the captain of a pirate ship called Revenge.
The lead character’s fortune changes after a run-in with the infamous Captain Blackbeard, played by Waititi. Stede and his crew then attempt to get their ship together and survive life on the high seas.
The main cast includes Rhys Darby as Stede Bonnet, Taika Waititi as Blackbeard, Kristian Nairn as Wee John Feeney, Nathan Foad as Lucius, Samson, Kayo as Oluwande, and Rory Kinnear as Captain Nigel Badminton.
We will also get to see Con O’Neill as Izzy, Vico Ortiz as Bonifacia, Ewen Bremner as Buttons, David Fane as Fang, Joel Fry as Frenchie, Guz Khan as Ivan, and Matthew Maher as Black Pete. Leslie Jones, Nat Faxon, Fred Armisen, and Samba Schutte would play the recurring roles.
Our Flag Means Death: Release Date
The makers of the show officially announced that Our flag Means Death will be released on March 3, 2022.
The first three episodes of the show will be released on March 3. The next two will premiere on March 10 followed by two each week on March 17 and March 24.
The series will be available for streaming on HBO Max. By 2021, HBO and HBO Max have around 69.4 million paying subscribers including 43.5 million in U.S. and 20.5 million in other countries.
Those who want to watch the series can purchase an HBO Max subscription. HBO Max offers two tiers, one without ads for $14.99 per month and one with ads for $9.99 per month.
