On July 24, 2020, Netflix renewed the series for a second season which was released on July 30, 2021. In December 2021, the series was renewed for a third season which was released on February 23, 2023. Outer Banks Plot and Cast
At the end of season three, the Pogues found a captain’s log that once belonged to Blackbeard, a famous pirate. John B agrees to investigate the clue, which suggests that season four will see the group embark on yet another drama-filled quest for Blackbeard’s treasure.
As for the cast, all the Pogues, the Cameron family, will return in the fourth season of the teen drama, including the lead cast Chase Stokes as John B Routledge, Madelyn Cline as Sarah Cameron, Madison Bailey as Kiara Carrera, Charles Esten as Ward Cameron, and Drew Starkey as Rafe Cameron. We will also get to see Andy McQueen as Carlos Singh, Fiona Palomo as Sofia, and Lou Ferrigno Jr. as Ryan.
