Buckle up for the next adventure with all your excitement because Outer Banks isn’t likely to end it up there on Season 1
It’s yet to be officially announced by Netflix about renewing this Young Adult Series Outer Banks- by Jonas Pate, who’s the creator and showrunner. So in the previous reports, we find out that the series doesn’t stop at just one season!! In fact, they had planned around 4 seasons when they initially started. So after the 10 amazing episodes of season 1, they had a green signal from Netflix for season 2 and guess what they already had started writing it!!
What happened in season one?
Four best friends – the Pogues i.e John B., J.J, Pope, and Kiara are found searching for the wreckage of the Royal Merchant on the outer banks of North Carolina. That was a ship sunk with $400 million worth of gold on board. By the end of the finale for season one, they actually located the wreck and found out the gold but unfortunately got stolen by ward, the evil father of John B’s New girlfriend named Sarah.
Ward also frames John B for murder to move him out cleanly. And later we see John and Sarah fleeing from the cops in a boat but get caught in a tropical storm. Their boat gets stuck and their friends presume their death. But Sarah and John manage to survive and there comes a new mission of returning back to Nassau and steal back the royal merchant gold from the ward.
The season 2
According to the reports, season 2 will have it’s some part shot in the Bahamas but they will soon return back to the outer banks as they started from there.
As we saw in the previous season the Pogues think that John and Sarah are dead but they are alive can definitely bring some dramatic twists in the next season! And definitely there will be some new adventure with exciting challenges also not to forget some unsolved mysteries.
