Override 2: Super Mech League will be available for purchase on December 22nd for $29.99. The Ultraman Deluxe Edition, available in physical and digital form, costs $39.99. Along with the base game, this version features Ultraman as one of the playable characters. Three additional characters based on the Netflix anime will be added in the coming months.
Gameplay
Override 2 will feature both single-player and multiplayer campaigns with the option for four-player local as well as online.
Career mode will have players joining the Mech League and grinding to move up the rank ladder. Players will have to join a club, and working with its members will help earn rewards.
Another feature being introduced in Override 2: Super Mech League is Ranked Rumbles, in which two robots have to face off against each other in a fight to the finish. Multiplayer game modes include 2v2, Xenoswarm, King of the Hill, Free-For-All, and more. Action is accessible to all and easy to jump into, but strategic depth in combat design means even the most skill-focused players will find a deeply rewarding challenge as they grapple with rivals across dangerous arenas and a range of different game modes.
Robots can also be customized with a large range of attachments and cosmetic items. The Career Mode will see you spend hours and hours playing as you choose a Club, rep it in battle and fight for Influence. The current roster includes a whopping 20 robots (not including Ultraman who is a DLC character), each with their own unique abilities and Ultimate Moves.
