Created and written by Lauren Oliver based on her 2014 novel of the same name, “Panic” is an American teen drama television series starring Olivia Welch, Mike Faist, and Jessica Sula, the first season of which premiered on Friday, May 28, 2021, on Amazon Prime Video.
No one knows who invented Panic or when it first began. But in the forgotten rural town of Carp, Texas, the game is the only way out. Panic began as so many things do in Carp, a poor town of twelve thousand people in the middle of nowhere: because it was summer, and there was nothing else to do.
