The series premiered on September 1, 2022, on AMC+. The executive producers of the series are Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, Ben Kalina, Juno Lee, and Craig Silverstein. A second season was in production by August 2022.

David is the first of an entirely new species referred to as a “Downloaded Intelligence” or “UI.” However, he will not be the last, as a great conspiracy is forming that might spark a new global war.
