Created by Waco O’Guin and Roger Black, Paradise PD is an American animation animated sitcom. The executive producers o the show include Waco O’Guin, Roger Black, Scott Greenberg, Joel Kuwahara, and Marc Provissiero.

The first season of Paradise PD premiered on August 31, 2018, on Netflix. The series received mixed reviews from critics and currently holds 40% of the approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Despite that, the developers of the show have renewed the show for two more new seasons which premiered on March 6, 2020, and March 12, 2021, respectively. Netflix has renewed for a fourth and final season set to premiere on December 16, 2022.

Paradise PD Plot and Cast

The basic premise of Paradise PD follows a small-town police department where crime is rampant and the police are incompetent. The force consists of Chief Randall Crawford, the violent Gina Jabowski, the morbidly obese Dusty Marlow, the perverted senior citizen Stanley Hopson, the cowardly Gerald “Fitz” Fitzgerald, the addicted drug dog Bullet, and Crawford’s son Kevin.

The town is also home to many weird characters, including Crawford’s ex-wife Karen, the hillbillies Robby and Delbert, Hobo Cop, Dr. Funtlicher, Preacher Paul, Terry Two-Toes, and his mom. Continuing arcs of the show include Gina’s lust over Dusty, Kevin’s wish to impress his father, Fitz’s double life as a drug kingpin simply known as the Kingpin, and the Crawfords’ wish to get back together.

Netflix has renewed the show for a fourth and final season, which is set to premiere on December 16, 2022. The upcoming season will consist of thirteen episodes.
