Peacemaker: Release Date

Welcome this new year with some new shows! The show will premiere on January 13 exclusively on HBO Max. The show consists of eight -episodes. The first three episodes are expected to be dropped at once on the release date.

The show stars John Cena as Peacemaker, Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt, Steve Agee as John Economos, Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo, Freddie Stroma as Vigilante, Robert Patrick as Auggie Smith, Chukwudi Iwuji as Clemson Murn, Annie Chang as Sophie Song, Lochlyn Munro as Larry Fitzgibbon, Rizwan Manji as Jamil, Elizabeth Ludlow as Keeya and Christopher Heyerdahl as Captain Locke.

James Gunn is the writer of the complete show as well as the director of five of them. Other directors of the show include Jody Hill, Brad Anderson and Rosemary Rodriguez.

Peacemaker: More Updates

The filming of the show began on January 15 this year in Vancouver, Canada and wrapped up on July 11. The entire production took 131 days to complete. 

In an interview, Gunn revealed that “The first three are pretty much completely edited. Four and five are coming along. They’re a little slower because they were directed by other people. Six, I just saw the first cut of last night, which I directed, I’m really happy with. And then eight is most of the way edited, and so is seven, which is [directed by] Brad Anderson.
