Created by James Gunn, Peacemaker is an American superhero television series that premiered on HBO Max on January 13, 2022. It was based on the DC Comics character Peacemaker and it is the first DC Extended Universe (DCEU) television series and a spin-off from the 2021 film The Suicide Squad.

Gunn is also the executive producer alongside Matt Miller and Peter Safran. In February 2022 the series was renewed for a second season which is set to release very soon.

Peacemaker Plot and Cast

We don’t have to speculate anything about the Peacemaker Season 2 since it will continue from where the first half ended.

The main plot focuses on while Season 1 of the series followed the story of the Peacemaker’s journey to joining the mysterious A.R.G.U.S. after being injured in the events of The Suicide Squad, the makers are yet to hint at the possible Peacemaker Season 2 plot of the series.

Most of the cast members of the first season are expected to reprise their roles in the upcoming season. Some of the popular ones include actors namely John Cena as Christopher Smith / Peacemaker, Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo, Chukwudi Iwuji as Clemson Murn, Freddie Stroma as Adrian Chase / Vigilante, Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt, Steve Agee as John Economos, Robert Patrick as August “Auggie” Smith / White Dragon, Lochlyn Munro as Larry Fitzgibbon, Lenny Jacobson as Evan Calcaterra, among others.

Peacemaker Season 2 Release Date

The release date of Peacemaker Season 2 has not been released yet. However, it is confirmed for now that it won’t arrive in 2022 and we can expect it in 2023.

The new season might consist of eight episodes like the first one. Detailed information about the upcoming season shall be unveiled in the next few months.
