Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway is the sequel to 2018 film Peter Rabbit. It is a live action/computer animated kids comedy film. The film is directed by Will Gluck, who also directed the first Peter Rabbit film. The films are based on the character Peter Rabbit, who appeared in children’s comics called The Tales of Peter Rabbit. The comic was created by Beatrix Potter.

Cast of Peter Rabbit 2
The film has both live-action characters as well as computer animated characters. Domhnall Gleeson reprises his role as Thomas McGregor. Rose Byrne also reprises her role as Bea. David Oyelowo joins the cast of Peter Rabbit 2 playing the role of Nigel Basil-Jones.
In voice acting, James Corden returns to his role as the voice of the titular character, Peter Rabbit. Margot Robbie also returns to voice the character of Flopsy Rabbit, as does Elizabeth Debicki, voicing the character of Mopsy Rabbit. Aimee Horne joins the cast as the voice of Cottontail Rabbit. This character was voiced by Daisy Ridley in the first film. Colin Moody also returns to voice the character of Benjamin Bunny. Lenny James and Rupert Degas join the voice acting cast in the second film, voicing the characters of Barnabas and Samuel Whiskers, respectively. Sia also returns as the voice behind the character of Mrs. Tiggy Winkle.
Domhnall Gleesonand Rose Byrne, aside from their live action roles in the film, also voice the characters Mr. Jeremy Fisher and Jemima Puddle Duck, respectively. Sam Neil, who played Mr. McGregor and also voiced Tommy Brock in the first film, returns to the cast as the voice of Tommy Brock. Ewen Leslie and Christian Gazal also return as the voice behind their characters from the first film, Pigling Bland and Felix D’eer, respectively. Damon Herriman joins the voice acting cast as the voice of the character Tom Kitten.
Release Date of Peter Rabbit 2
The film was scheduled for a release on March 27, 2020 in the United Kingdom and April 3, 2020 in the United States. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the release was delayed and was scheduled on August 7, 2020. It was further postponed and is now scheduled to release on January 15, 2021.
