Phantasy Stars 2 Online Releases in North America?

Phantasy Star Online 2 is a free to play an online action role-playing game. Sega is the developer as well as the publisher of the Phantasy Star Series. Phantasy Star One is available since 2000. The story of Phantasy Star One is unrelated to the previous Phantasy Star Series.

Plot

The game gets an update by the addition of new episodes. Each episode is like a new in Pubg or Apex Legends.  But the episode lasts longer for almost a year. To date, 5 episodes are released by Sega. Each episode has its own different plot. In episode 1 the player and its fellow face an attack by vile organisms. Episode 2 follows the basic plot of episode 1 and there is a creation of a new race. Next in episode 3 some of the dark truths are revealed and it seems the truth is more horrifying. Episode 4 is when the player wakes up from deep sleep as it came after 2 years. In episode 5 the mission fails and the player finds himself in a different universe.

Platforms

The game launched in Japan seven years ago. The game is available on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, Playstation Vita, Android, and ios. But in North America, the game is available only on Xbox One that too for a few days. Now Sega is all set to release the game for PC in North America. Phantasy Star Online 2 will be exclusively available through the Microsoft Store on PC. The official date for the release of the English language version is 27 May. The plan to launch the game in the West is in progress from 2013. Finally, the game will make its debut in the west on Microsoft store on PC.

Gameplay

The game is an action-oriented game. Players engage with enemies in real-time with various attacks. Players choose a character and can customize their characters. Various features can be customized such as name, gender, race, body, and facial features. A player can choose from nine starting classes. A diverse selection of weapon types and playstyle is available. Certain classes have the ability to use techniques and attacks similar to magic.

The game is quite popular in Japan but it is a tough game to get famous in the west. We can expect a European release soon and the game is not region locked. So Europeans can access the North American version of the game.
