Well, this show can invite a lot of hatred. The world is facing lockdown and travel restrictions. Everyone is bored at home, nowhere to go, nothing to do. But Phil Rosenthal and Netflix thought that putting salt to injury is a good option. They decided to launch a new season of a show that focuses on traveling and delicious food around the world. The home locked viewers are bound to get jealous.
Phil Rosenthal is back again, literally eating through the whole world in the new season of ‘Somebody Feed Phil’. He travels around the world, making friends, cracking jokes, and most importantly savoring the various local delicacies. His adventure takes him to five places all over the world. His tour takes him to Marrakesh, Chicago, London, Seoul, and Montreal. He eats all sorts of food including tteok-bokki in South Korea and lamb in Marrakesh. and even gets to dine with a K-pop star.
Even in the trailer, Phil spots a boy wearing a t-shirt with the caption “Life’s decision- Pizza or Taco” and exclaims” These are my life decision too”. In another scene in the trailer, a host tells him “Come next time with your wife” to which he answers “nope” and everyone bursts in laughter.
‘Somebody feed Phil’ is a successor of his earlier show on PBS ” I’ll Have What Phil’s Having”.
Nothing sophisticated.
