Pirates of the Caribbean is a series of fantasy swashbuckler films produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and loosely based on Walt Disney’s eponymous theme park attraction. The very first Pirates of the Caribbean movie was premiered way back in 2013. After waiting around for about 3 years, Walt Disney Studios is bringing Jack Sparrow’s unsung wisdom as 6th instalment of “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise to tickle your funny bone.

The film will be directed by Joachim Ronning. The speculated timeline of its release is around mid-2021 but that can fluctuate on the account of current COVID-19’s confluence. The film is to be titled as “Pirates of the Caribbean: Return of the Kraken” following the good ol’ pattern. Pirates of the Caribbean franchise has surged to 14th position of highest-grossing films of all time with $4.5 bn in revenue globally. There have been rumours regarding Johnny Depp’s is being replaced by Zac Efron as Disney contemplated to reconsider after his national abuse allegations from Amber Heard, but things have changed as he is proved innocent in the courtroom. Johnny Depp is likely to reprise his role as Jack Sparrow.
The plot based on sources have only one thing to suggest that this will be nothing like the previous films of the franchise and with a lot of surprise elements for fans. Rumours also have it that Jack Sparrow will have a protégé and its character is inspired by real-life Pirate – Anne Bonny. The plot is supposed to get a little bit clearer after the release of the trailer which is official and not made by fans. Pirates of the Caribbean 6 will also see the returning of Kaya Scodelario as Carina Barbossa, Brenton Thwaites as Henry Turner and Kevin McNally as Joshamee Gibbs.
