Pirates Of The Caribbean 6: When Will We See It?
Sources have confirmed that a reboot of Pirates Of The Caribbean is on the talks currently. Originally, Deadpool writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick were hired to write the script for the new movie but they dropped out earlier this year. So, Chernobyl creator Craig Mazin and Ted Elliott have been hired and are working on the script currently. Due to the current global situation, this film may come to theatres in mid to late 2021.
Does A Reboot Mean That Our Man Will Not Be Back?
A reboot of a film means to discard all continuity in a series to recreate its characters, timeline, and backstory from the beginning. This means that the character Jack Sparrow which was brought to life on the screens by Johnny Depp may be retained but we are not sure if we will be able to see Depp as Jack Sparrow after all the legal issues that were going on. There is no information on any of the other cast members or the characters. It also isn’t clear if Jack Sparrow in the recreated version of Pirates Of The Caribbean will have different character details or not.
