Pit Bulls & Parolees is an American reality television series on Animal Planet. The series which began in 2009, focuses on the Villalobos Rescue Center. A rescue for dogs, specifically Pit bulldogs. The show’s mission, stated in voiceover during the show’s opening credits by founder Tia Maria Torres. To combat misconceptions about pit bulls and other similar dogs. Also, to provide employment and a stable transition for recent parolees who are trying to return to society. Here is what you need to know about season 18 of Pit Bulls & Parolees! 

What is the story of Pit Bulls & Parolees?

Pit Bulls & Parolees depicts the day-to-day operations at the Villalobos Rescue Center (VRC). Torres started the shelter in Agua Dulce, California. In 2011, the shelter relocated to Greater New Orleans in Louisiana.

Episodes generally feature several stories and usually include both a dog rescue as well as adoption. Episodes also feature Tia and her family, including daughters Tania and Mariah, adopted twin sons Kanani and Moe, their wives Lizzie and Mariah (or “M2”), and the parolees who work for the rescue, performing daily care training duties and pit bull rescue missions.

What will we see in season 18?

In the season’s premiere, the Villalobos Rescue Center crew is on a mission to catch a runaway dog. Similarly, daughter Mariah gets a creative idea for the parolees to design fundraising apparel. We’ll also see a family come all the way from sunny California in search of a new furry family member to share in their adventurous lifestyle.

When is the show releasing?

Season 18 of Pit Bulls & Parolees is releasing on 3rd April 2021. But here is a change, the series is now moved to the Discovery channel. Go watch the show on 3rd April at 8pm.
