Today has been a great day for Qualcomm, firstly the president of Qualcomm has announced that OnePlus is going to be the first ever company to come up with the 5G smartphone along with the X50 modem, and later today Qualcomm has also unveiled the all-new gaming-based Snapdragon 675 chipset coupled with the new CPU cores as a new improvement. The biggest update is this improved processor along with the Kryo 460 cores.

Out of these, two of them are based on the all-new Cortex-A76, which has been well optimized for performance and can easily hit speeds up to 2Ghz, while the remaining six are based upon the Cortex A55. Surprisingly, the ISP and GPU remains the same with the Snapdragon 670, the same old Spectra 250 and Adreno 612. Well, so this new chipset comes with many new gaming optimizations such as Unity, Unreal, Messiah, and the NeoX.

Apart from this, there is also support for most of the popular tools and API’s such as Vulkan, OpenGL 3.2, OpenCL, and the Snapdragon profiler. The camera capabilities have also been improved with this chipset and hence it supports the triple camera’s setup up to 16MP, or in case a 25MP sensor for a single camera. You can actually find out the changes when the image has been captured with the all-new multi-core AI engine which promises to increase the photo quality by at least 50%.

The all new Snapdragon 675 does come with the support for Quick Charge 4+ technology, so now all the manufactures can implement this technology. Well, so now talking about connectivity, we can also find Bluetooth 5, Dual VoLTE, Dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 ac with MIMO 2×2, all the popular location-based platforms and Cat.12. So now the download speeds easily go up to 600 Mbps. This all-new platform is ready for the OEM’s too, so this will be soon arriving in consumer device in early 2019.

Honestly, I’m just like you. I went to college. My academic background revolves around computer science and information technology. To honest, I was never that great at studies though! Started off my internet journey at the age of 16 and made my first penny within a month through website designing.
