Razer Phone 2 Launched with SD845, RGB Chroma Light and 120Hz Display

The gaming accessory giant Razer has just launched the Razer Phone 2 today, as a successor to its first gaming phone- the Razer Phone. The device still carries a lot of traits from its predecessor in addition to the newly added perks, making it one of the most perfect phones for pure gamers.

The Razer Phone sports a glass back which allows for the Wireless charging and is further adorned by the horizontally stacked dual cameras and the Razer Chroma RGB logo which can glow in different colors for notifications and can be synced with other Razer peripherals as well.

The device bears a 5.72-inch UltraMotion IPS LCD display with a Quad-HD (1440×2560 pixels) resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is brighter than its predecessor at 650 nits but comes in an old 16:9 aspect ratio with top and bottom bezels which is a home to those front-firing stereo speakers.

Under the hood, the Razer Phone 2 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC along with 8GB of RAM and 64GB of Internal storage (expandable up to 256GB), which when coupled with vapor chamber cooling system allows for a cool and throttle-free gameplay.

In the optics department, the phone sports dual 12 MP rear cameras out of which one is a wide angle lens and another one is a telephoto lens. The front camera is an 8 MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

The Power button doubles up as a fingerprint scanner. Moreover, the device is IP67 certified for water and dust resistance. Other features include Dolby Atmos, dual amplifiers and a dedicated 24-bit USB-C DAC.
