Release Date Postponed for Come Play? Know More !

Come Play as a movie title sounds very innocent and naive. If one does not know about ‘Come Play’, they might assume it something to be associated with kids and infants. But the reality is quite different than what is perceived.

Come Play is an upcoming horror film in a short film, Larry. The story revolves around a lonely boy  Oliver who has almost no interaction with the real world. He has no real friends and he finds himself addicted to his cell phone and tablet. The boys seek is friendship and companions and seeks it in the virtual world. An unknown monster named Larry uses the gadgets to influence Oliver. The monster wants to break into this world. Oliver’s parents must act before things go out of hand and save their son from the monster behind the screen.

Come Play is directed by Jacob Chase ( who also directed Larry). The movie is produced by  Andrew Rona, Alex, Heineman, Andrew Calif and Amblin Partners, Participant Media, and The Picture Company and distributed by Focus Features.

What is the Cast of Come Play?

The cast includes child-actor Azhy Robertson in the role of Oliver,  Gillian Jacobs ( from NBC’s Community ) and John Gallagher Jr. ( from HBO’s The Newsroom) played the role of Oliver’s parents.

What will be the New Release Date for Come Play?

The movie was initially set to hit theatres on 24 July 2020. But following the uncertainty amidst COVID-19 pandemic and closure of all theatres, the producers panicked. The producers have now postponed the movie to Halloween weekend on 30 October 2020.
