Release of Dead to Me Season 2
Dead to Me is an American black comedy web television series created by Liz Feldman which releases its first season in May 2019 on Netflix. This series is about a powerful friendship that blossoms between a tightly wound widow and a free spirit with a shocking secret.
The show stars Linda Cardellini and Christina Applegate as the main protagonists. The firsts season received positive credits from its viewers and was a success.
Plot
Jen (Applegate) is a recently widowed real estate agent who uses therapy and other methods to cope up with her anger and resentment as an outlet for her grief. That is where she meets Judy (Cardellini), who is already a part of the therapy group, grieving over her fiance, who died of a heart attack.
They both deal with their respective situation very differently. Jen finds herself in a dark place struggling wile Judy grieves over her fiance but manages to maintain a positive attitude.
The first season got a 94% rating from the audience score and a 86% of critics rating from the Rotten Tomatoes.
Season 2 Release
On April 10, Netflix revealed that the show is coming back to the streaming service on May 8, 2020. The main characters Christina and Linda have both signed for the second season. The filming of the season wrapped up in December 2019 according to the Instagram post of Linda.
The first season ended with a cliffhanger, after finding out that Judy was responsible for her husband’s death, Jen is found standing over the body of Steve- Judy’s ex-fiance with a gun in hand.
