Remothered: Broken Porcelain is a horror game made, written and directed by Italian video game artist and director Chris Darril, built by Italian company Stormind Games and distributed by Darril Arts in partnership with Modus Games. It’s the sequel to the 2018 survival title Remothered: Tormented Fathers.
Release Date
It was announced on 11 April at the IVGA (Italian Video Game Awards) in Rome by Chris Darril, recipient of the Best Italian Game Award, and Christina Seelye, CEO of Modus Games.
The game has recently received a fresh gameplay reveal, where the release date for 25 August was announced. But Modus, Stormind Games, and Darril Arts agreed to delay the release of the title by two months. They will try to bring it to PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in the best possible way. Now it’s set to be released on a new release date, 20 October 2020.
Gameplay
Broken Porcelain introduces an explosion of exciting updates to the title. Adding fresh gameplay and narrative mechanics that inject new life into the protagonists and an unparalleled degree of immersion in this eerie adventure – ideal for both current and returning fans.
The truths hidden at the Ashmann Inn won’t be easily uncovered. Many secrets are tangled and guarded by the stalkers’ menacing threat, the strong hunters locked in time, and the limits of its walls. Survival will require more than quick impulses, as a pragmatic and resourceful approach would easily become essential to this eerie adventure. Be smart-knowing the right time to hide, run, or battle impending hazards will easily turn hunters into hunters.
It’s full of new game mechanics and an entirely reworked layout, making the whole adventure more exciting and frightening. Fans of the previous chapter of the Remothered series will also get a sneak peek at what to do. Hopefully getting the answers to some old questions.
