Have you heard it yet? Quibi posts a new video that reveals the comedy series Reno 911 has officially been renewed for season 8.
RENO 911:
Created by Robert Ben Garrant, Thomas Lennon, Kerri Kenny-Silver, Reno 911 is an American Comedy Television series. It initially aired on Comedy Central from 2003 to 2009. The show is a mockery style parody of real crime.
The six seasons ran on Comedy Central. After that, the show’s seventh season premiered on the streaming platform QUIBI. Quibi has released a short video for the new Reno 911! season, which they advertise as “Part 2” of its revival(Part 1 being Season 7). The video features Lennon as Lt. Jim Dangle, complete with his iconic short-shorts and boots costume. Season 7 is currently streaming on Quibi for subscribers in the 10-minute bite-sized episodes characteristic of the platform.

About Season 8:
“We are thrilled about the pickup, but we’re even more thrilled about getting to leave our living rooms for the first time in five months,” series co-creators Lennon, Ben Garant and Kenney-Silver said in a joint statement.
There is no official notice of the release date of ‘Reno 911!’ season 8. But we can expect that the season will come out in mid-2021
