Created by Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi for FX Productions, Reservation Dogs is an Indigenous American teen comedy-drama streaming television series. The series features all Indigenous writers and directors, along with an almost entirely Indigenous North American cast and production team.
The series premiered on August 9, 2021, and holds an approval rating of 98% on Rotten Tomatoes. It is also the first series to be filmed entirely in Oklahoma. In September 2021, the series was renewed for a second season.

Reservation Dogs Season 2 Release Date
Following the positive response to the first season, Reservation Dogs has been renewed for a second season. It is expected to have eight episodes like Season 1.
Since the third season has been renewed recently, there is no confirmation on the release date. Based on the time needed to make the series, we can expect it to release sometime towards the end of 2022 or in 2023.
Reservation Dogs Season 2 Plot and Cast
The series follows the lives of four Indigenous teenagers in rural Oklahoma, as they spend their days committing the crime and fighting it. After the death of their friend Daniel one year before the events of the series, the gang wrestles with a desire to move to California, the way Daniel dreamed of. But first, they need to tie up loose ends in their lives and community and make preparations to leave.
Now, talking about the cast, it includes Devery Jacobs as Elora Danan Postoak, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai as Bear Smallhill, Lane Factor as Cheese, Paulina Alexis as Willie Jack, and Sarah Podemski as Rita. We will also get to see Zahn McClarnon as Officer Big, Dallas Goldtooth as Spirit, Lil Mike as Mose, Funny Bone as Mekko, and Elva Guerra as Jackie.
