Gameplay

The third game, Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break has finally arrived and with it the opportunity for players to immerse themselves more by building their environments and obstacle courses while completing courses built by other players.

The game’s story mode is simple. Players switch between constructing and rolling a giant boulder through difficult obstacle courses to the finish line. It’s all about protecting their fortress in the typical Tower-Defense style across a variety of various historical times. Step into a vast, gut-busting tale for an eccentric experience featuring surreal and unreverent pictures of famous characters.

The story mode, Break, is just the perfect amount of difficulty for players to be challenged to strategize. That time a player’s rock, made of goats, cries as it falls from a cliff at the highest level. They’re unable to stop trying again and again before they have it right. If that intense drive is applied to the ability to invite friends to run unique races, it’s easy to waste hours lost in a historical period.
