Rogue Legacy 2 is set to release this week! Know more!

Your player in Rogue Legacy 2 will strike down as they drop. When they’re standing over an opponent or entity that they can kill and dive down on them, the character’s flipping up into the air.

Release Date

It is set to release on 18th August 2020. It’ll be available through Steam and the Epic Games Store for PC.

Gameplay

Rogue Legacy 2 is what you’d get if you paired Rogue Legacy and a sequel together. Each time you die, your children will follow you, and every child is special. Your daughter might be a Colorblind Shooter, and your son might be a Pacific Chef. Either way, one of them is going to get conscripted.

The Rogue Legacy 2 is a rogue-LITE genealogy. That means it has all the trappings of traditional rogue-like existence, but with permanent updates and permanent dead heirs. Your place in this game determines you. Spend the inheritance of your parents and expand the manor of the family to give your children a greater chance of battle.

Every child is special, with its characteristics and skills. Your daughter might as well be an archer. Even she may be a Vegan. Also, Rogue Legacy 2 lets you play as you wish. Go hard and fast, and immerse yourself deeper into the depths of a randomly generated world. Or take things slow and steady, and build up your character until you can push yourself further.

New Features

New Style 

The series uses 2.5D designs, with 3D characters against hand-drawn backgrounds.

Unique Weapons 

On top of the new skills, classes now have weapons that alter the way they play. The Rangers use bows, the Lancers have multi-directional kicks, and the cooks fire ladles.

Revamped Biome

Each biome adopts various “construct strategies” to create fully unique and still-randomly-generated regions.

Characters 2.0

Through the powers of Socialism, developers are introducing the Universal Health Care System, which adds a change to some traits of gold gain. The poorer the attribute (in-game) is, the greater the incentive. This makes choosing your heirs a positive choice every time.

Increased Accessibility

RL1 has also been designed for simplicity, appealing to all serious players by professional playing, and the more casual with a detailed level-up system. However, in some situations, development could also hit the wall, so we’ve added new mechanisms, such as offshore banking, to give poor players more opportunities to excel.
