Set in a violent Norse world at the end of days. Rune II is an epic RPG action where gods, beasts, and the few surviving human beings are fighting to survive.
The Human Head considered a sequel as early as 2000. Rune 2 had been negotiated with an unnamed publisher in the early till the mid-2000s. In 2012, Human Head Studios revealed that they were considering producing a sequel to Rune. Rune: Ragnarok was revealed to be in development by Human Head in August 2017. The Ragnarok subtitle was scrapped in March 2018 and the title was changed Rune.
New Patch Update
The first update to Public Test Realm was applied to the popular title of Action RPG, Rune 2.
The title Patch Version 1.1.15 is the first practical upgrade to the Public Test Domain for Rune 2 as previously stated. This latest update includes chapter 1: Age of Awakening plot, which is said to contain new adventures, a new critical path, and more.
In a forthcoming update, Ragnarok Game and Studio 369 just announced their intention to restructure the Rune 2 new-player experience. The update will showcase a complete overhaul of the opening chapter of the Viking-inspired multiplayer RPG.
The tutorial was also reconstructed, based on user’s feedback. The new tutorial program will impart all the information that players need to master the game. These include products for equipping, forging, guns and armor repair, and more. The upgrade will also feature improved voice over and sound audio, destructible houses, new villages and residents, and more.

There are also several major quests and side quests, some of which will be found by talking to villagers or exploring the world.
The Rune II PTR on the Epic Games Store is available to all game owners but Ragnarok Game highly suggests building a new character for it.
