To tinsel town
Just to pursue her movie star dreams
She’s giving hot tricks to men
Just to get in
When she was taught that that’s not clean
She’s headed for the big time that means
These were the lyrics to a Michael Jackson song which talked about a girl trying to make it in Hollywood while struggling with her own morals. Ryan Murphy A.K.A “The most powerful man in the television industry” has created shows like “Glee” and “The Politician” and movies like “The Normal Heart” (my favorite). His status as an excellent content creator, who brings the marginalized communities upfront was heavily applauded in all his works including the latest “Hollywood”.
“Hollywood” was a mini-series that explored the morality, dignity, and chastity of Hollywood’s Golden-era. Although the show was supposed to be a mini-series, it made a huge impact on its audience and the people trying to live their “American Dream”, or those who have had their dreams shattered(You can find these species almost on every street in modern capitalist America). As the success overflowed the expectations, the audience wanted a Season 2 and the creators can’t agree more.
Ryan Murphy’s “HOLLYWOOD”: Is there a Season 2 Possibility?
There is no announcement about season 2, but rumors have been spreading that the creators might want to take the show forward. A fast-growing and content savvy platform like Netflix would love free promotions through rumors.
“Well Hollywood was planned as a limited series, but it’s become so popular that everyone is asking for another season,” – Murphy wrote on Instagram.
While talking about making “Hollywood” an anthology, this is what Murphy told “The Hollywood Reporter” –
“I would never follow the characters again, but, 20 years from there? I don’t know. It’s not something I’m thinking about; Netflix and I have not even discussed it and nor would we unless it had some huge success. I’ve done these anthology shows like American Horror Story and American Crime Story, and this was not designed like that. This was designed to be seven episodes. That’s kind of what it is.”
Producer Janet Mock also took to Instagram and gave her opinions on Season 2.
We have a very similar vision… 😉 IF we were to tell another HOLLYWOOD story. #hollywoodnetflix https://t.co/LqPfNNiKFH

Well, these might be just tricks to gain more following and viewers, but we hope it’s just not that, as we wait eagerly for a season 2.
Ryan Murphy’s “Hollywood”, What’s The Show About?
Netflix’s Hollywood, created by Ryan Murphy, follows three aspiring artists trying to make it in Hollywood despite being marginalized by American society. The show follows a fantasy plot which might not be as real as the original 40s era of Tinseltown, yet the show manages to show us the grim realities of Hollywood and the studio dynamics which helped shape the modern American entertainment industry or as the “Late Night Show hosts” call it “Showbusiness”.
I do not hate people, but I despise their existence. Hi, I’m an actor, writer, poet, visual artist, a man of science and also the least favourite person in my family. Our beloved Hemingway, once said "There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed." I believed in this quote humbly, truly and faithfully, now I have Anemia. I hope you like my works and if you do then please tell the President about it (seriously, all we want is fame).
