Saint Maud is a British psychological horror film that first premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 8, 2019. Rose Glass directed the film while also writing the screenplay.
Andrea Cornwall and Oliver Kassman produced the film while Adam Janota Bzowski worked on the music. Ben Fordesman acted as the cinematographer while Mark Towns acted as the editor for the film.

Saint Maud: Plot and Cast
The official website of A24 Films LLC, an American independent entertainment company working on the film, details the plot as such:
“The debut film from writer-director Rose Glass, Saint Maud is a chilling and boldly original vision of faith, madness, and salvation in a fallen world. Maud, a newly devout hospice nurse, becomes obsessed with saving her dying patient’s soul — but sinister forces, and her own sinful past, threaten to put an end to her holy calling.”
Maud (played by Morfydd Clark) takes care of Amanda (played by Jennifer Ehle), a patient in hospice care. Amanda is a retired dancer who is also terminally ill with cancer and is not going to live for very long.
However, Maud also decides that she needs to take care of Amanda’s soul along with her body. Therefore, she sets to saving Amanda from eternal damnation, because she believed God told her to do so.
Lily Knight plays Joy while Lily Frazer plays Carol. Turlough Convery plays Christian while Rosie Sansom plays Ester and Marcus Hutton plays Richard. Carl Prekopp plays Homeless Pat while Noa Bodner plays Hilary.
