Samsung recently confirmed that will announce the Samsung Galaxy S10 at an event in San Francisco on February 20. The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event is expected to celebrate the company’s 10 years of the Galaxy Line of smartphones while also providing the platform for other devices. Now, the South Korean manufacturer confirms that it will be launching the much-awaited foldable Galaxy F smartphone will be launched on the same stage.

This piece of information was revealed by Samsung’s billboards in Place de la Concorde, Paris. The first part (written in Korean) translates to “The future unfolds” while the second part reveals the date to be in February 20. Interestingly, this is not a Google Translate and instead offered by the company’s press release.

Samsung’s foldable Galaxy F smartphone is touted as a game changer in the smartphone industry. It will likely to be the first foldable smartphone though other manufacturers like Huawei are also working on a device that will be released this year. The phone was already confirmed last year and was demoed at CES for a few selected audiences. Even the name Galaxy F is yet to be confirmed officially.

Previously, a source claimed that the upcoming foldable smartphone will have triple cameras set up at the rear. The handset is likely to come with the latest version of Bixby 3.0. From previous reports, it will feature a 4.6 exterior display and a larger 7.3 display when unfolded. Currently, the information about Samsung’s foldable smartphone is very scarce. The handset is speculated to come with 5G support connectivity and is expected to be higher than Samsung’s Note series.
