Samsung Galaxy A50, Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A10 launched in India with price starting Rs 8,490

The South Korean giant today launched the much awaited Samsung Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 smartphones in the Indian market. Aimed at the youth section, the A10 is an entry-level smartphone whereas the A30 and A50 are mid-range devices. Unlike the recently launched M-series smartphones, the Galaxy A10, A30 and A50 phones will be available in both offline and online stores.
Samsung Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 Specifications
As for the specifications, the mid-range Samsung Galaxy A30 and A50 have similar specifications. The Samsung Galaxy A50 features a 6.4-inch S-AMOLED display with Infinity-U notch design. It has a resolution of FHD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels), 91.6 per cent screen-to-body ratio and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. That being said, the Galaxy A30 has the same display but gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Both the smartphones come with a 3D Glasstic that is nothing but glossy plastic chassis.
Notably, the Samsung Galaxy A50 is the first smartphone to be powered by the Exynos 9610 chipset. It is paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The A30 houses an Exynos 7904 instead, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. Both the smartphones are backed by a 4,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging through a USB Type-C port.
The Galaxy A50 sports a triple camera setup consisting of a 25MP primary camera with autofocus and f/1.7 aperture, a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP ultra wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture. On the front, it offers a 25MP camera. On the other hand, the Galaxy A30 sports a dual rear camera setup of 16MP primary camera and a 5MP ultra-wide lens. It offers a 16MP camera on the front with f/2.0 aperture.
Samsung Galaxy A10 Specifications
The Galaxy A10 has a low-end configuration compared to its elder siblings. It features a 6.2-inch Infinity-V LCD display with a resolution of HD+ (720 x 1520 pixels). It houses an Exynos 7884 chipset with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The device sports a 13MP rear camera of f/1.9 aperture and a 5MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. The handset comes without a fingerprint sensor.
The newly unveiled Galaxy A-series smartphones run One UI based Android 9 Pie OS. They have expandable memory support via microSD card. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, dual SIM, and 3.5mm audio jack.
Samsung Galaxy A50, A30 & A10: Price & Availability
As for the pricing, the 4GB and 6GB RAM variants of the Galaxy A50 cost Rs 19,990 and Rs 22,990, respectively. The phone comes in Blue, White, and Black colour options.
The Galaxy A30, on the other hand, costs a little cheaper at Rs 16,990 while the Galaxy A10 comes with a price tag of Rs 8,490. Note that both models come in Red, Blue, and Black colour options.
The Galaxy A50 and A30 will go on sale starting March 2 whereas the A10 will be available by March 20 in the market.
