Lately, the Korean giant Samsung unveiled Samsung Galaxy A50 and Samsung Galaxy A30 smartphones under its freshly revamped A-series. While the company announced the specifications of the handset, the price was still kept under wraps. That being said, Samsung Netherlands has finally announced the Galaxy A50 Price and launch details in its latest Press Release.
According to the press release, the Samsung Galaxy A50 will bear a price tag of EUR 349 which roughly translates to Rs. 28,100. Furthermore, the company suggested the Global launch of both the Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30 smartphones by mid-March. The expected launch was confirmed by Samsung Netherlands as well as Samsung’s South Korean division.
Certainly, Samsung aims to go big with the new Galaxy A-series. Recently, the company disclosed that it’s looking forward to building Galaxy A series a $4 billion brand in India alone. While Europe’s pricing doesn’t actually reflect the Indian price, it definitely throws light at what segment Samsung is aiming at! Keeping that in mind, we can assume the Galaxy A50 to arrive at around Rs. 30,000 in India.
Samsung India has already sent out press invites for a launch event on February 28 in Mumbai. The giant plans to announce India release information about the new Galaxy A Series phones at the event. Let’s now talk about the specifications of the handset.
Samsung Galaxy A50: Specifications, Features
The Samsung Galaxy A50 is a high-end smartphone incorporating an In-display fingerprint scanner. Notably, the device sports a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with FHD+ (1080×2340) screen resolution.
Furthermore, it is powered by an unknown octa-core processor coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB and 128GB storage options. There’s also a whopping 512GB of expandable storage via a microSD card.
As for the optics, Samsung Galaxy A50 features a triple camera setup at the back. The module comprises of a 25-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary shooter with f/2.2 aperture. There’s also an 8-megapixel with fixed focus f/2.2 lens. Up front, it has a 25-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Other notable features of the handset include a massive 4,000mAh battery with support for fast charging. Additionally, the Galaxy A50 gets Bixby Vision and Bixby Home alongside the Samsung Pay feature.
