Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018), Galaxy A9 (2018) get a price cut in India; now starting at 15,990 INR

The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) and Galaxy A9 (2018) smartphones have got a major price cut in India. Samsung is going on a price cut game now. Last week the company has slashed the prices of Samsung Galaxy A10, A20 and A30. Now, after the price cut, Galaxy A7 is available in India starting at a price of 15,990 INR whereas the A9 starts at 25, 990 INR.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 was launched in two variants. The base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB on-boot storage while the top variant is having 6GB of RAM and 128GB of on-boot storage. According to info available on Samsung India site, the 4GB RAM variant is priced at 15,990 INR contrasting the 18,990 original price tag. The 6GB RAM variant is 19,990 INR contrasting the 22,990 original price tag.

Talking about the Galaxy A9, which was considered as Samsung’s premium mid-range smartphone, is also launched in two variants. The base variant has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of on-boot storage. The top variant has 8GB of RAM but the same 128GB of on-boot storage. The base variant is now priced at 25,990 and the 8GB RAM variant is priced at 28,990 INR. These updated prices of the devices can be spotted on Flipkart, Amazon and other offline stores. A Mumbai based retailer, Mahesh Telecom, shared the updated prices of the devices.

Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) Specifications:

The Galaxy A7 boasts a 6-inch Super AMOLED display and is powered by octa-core Exynos 7885 chipset. The devices come with two storage options to choose from, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. As for the optics, there is a triple camera set up at the back. The primary sensor is a 24MP sensor. There is an 8MP wide-angle sensor along with a territory 5MP depth-sensing unit. There is a 24MP selfie shooter. The device runs Android 8 Oreo with Samsung Experience UI 9.0 on top. All this is backed by a 3000 mAh battery.

The Galaxy A9 boasts a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SOC. The A9 comes with two storage options to choose from, 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. As for the options, there is a quad camera setup on the back. A primary is a 24MP unit and there is an 8MP secondary camera for wide-angle photos. There is a territory 10MP unit along with 5MP depth sensor. The device runs Android 8 Oreo with Samsung Experience UI 9.0 on top. All this is backed by a bigger 3,800 mAh battery.
