Samsung Galaxy M30 to go on sale in March for a price of Rs. 14,999, says report

Samsung has recently refreshed its budget smartphone segment with the launch of Samsung Galaxy M10 and M20 smartphones in India. Now, the South Korean giant is planning to launch yet another device in its M-series. As reported previously, the upcoming handset will be called Samsung Galaxy M30, and we already have the alleged pricing and launch details of the same.

According to a report by news agency IANS, the Samsung Galaxy M30 will be launched in India within this month. Notably, the phone will go on sale in the first week of March at a price of Rs 14,990. As evident, it’ll be the most expensive smartphone in the M-series trio.

Samsung Galaxy M30 Specifications (Expected)

If reports are to be believed, the Samsung Galaxy M30 will sport a Super-AMOLED Infinity V display. The same is expected to bear a full-HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels.

Under the hood, the Galaxy M30 is tipped to get powered by an octa-core Exynos 7904 SoC based on 14nm process. The same can be seen on the Galaxy M20. The M30 will reportedly come in 4/6GB RAM and 64/128GB internal storage variants. There are also rumours indicating the presence of triple rear cameras on the phone.

Other speculated specifications include a USB type-C port, fast charging, massive 5,000mAh battery. The device might run latest Android 9 Pie with OneUI on top.

The existing Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M10 smartphones were unveiled in January for a starting price of Rs. 10,990 and Rs. 7,990, respectively. The top-end model of Galaxy M10 retails for Rs. 8,990 whereas the 4/64GB variant of Galaxy M20 is available for Rs. 12,990. The company has kept four flash sales up till now for both the devices.
