Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series could reportedly launch on August 10

It is no secret that Samsung is working on the highly anticipated Galaxy Note series. Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is extensively leaked ever since the Galaxy S10 trio is unveiled! Samsung is rumored to launch not one, but two devices this time. The two devices are – A standard Note 10 and a larger Note 10 Pro. In recent times, the high quality renders of both the variants are leaked showing the design and build in each aspect. Now, a new report from South Korea claims that the company will announce the Galaxy Note 10 on August 10 this year.

It is no surprise that Galaxy Note 10 is going to release in the month of August as Note series usually goes official in August. Last year, the Galaxy Note 9 was unveiled on August 9. As mentioned earlier the renders of both the devices were leaked recently. Based on them, it is clear that both the variants share a similar design except for a few changes. Just like one would expect, the Note 10 Pro will come with a larger display and quad camera setup contrasting triple rear camera setup on the standard Note 10.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10: Specifications (Expected)

The standard Galaxy Note 10 boasts a 6.28-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with support for HDR10+. The resolution of this panel is 3040 x 1440 pixels. The device supports up to 12 GB of RAM and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 or Exynos 9820 (not announced yet). As for the optics, there is a single front-facing camera and a triple camera arrangement on the back. The primary unit is expected to be 12 MP unit. The secondary is a 12 MP telephoto unit and there is also a territory 16 MP sensor for ultra-wide angle shots. The cameras are arranged vertically like on the Galaxy A-series of devices. Note 10 also features an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Pro: Specifications (Expected)

The larger Galaxy Note 10 boasts a 6.75-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with support for HDR10+. The resolution of this panel is 3040 x 1440 pixels. The device supports up to 12 GB of RAM and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 or Exynos 9820 (not announced yet). As for the optics, there is a single front-facing camera. Unlike the standard Note 10, there are four cameras on the back, instead of three. The primary unit is expected to be 12 MP unit. The secondary is a 12 MP telephoto unit and there is also a territory 16 MP sensor for ultra-wide angle shots. Lastly, there is also a ToF sensor. The cameras are arranged vertically like on the Galaxy A-series of devices. Just like the sibling, the Note 10 Pro also features an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. All this is backed by a 4500 mAh battery.

Other Leaks:

Samsung Insider Ice Universe predicts that the Galaxy Note 10 Fast Charging could be more than 25W. Not a lot of information and specific details are provided regarding this. The only thing Ice Universe mention is the battery and charging speeds would not be the weak points for these devices. Other speculations also suggest that Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series of devices might support for 45W fast charging. This technology was last seen on Oppo Find X Lamborgini Edition. The Find X can be charged 0-100% in half-an-hour. Considering the huge batteries on Note 10 series of devices, this might differ a few minutes compared to the Find X.

According to the recent reports, the Galaxy Note 10 is not going to come with 45W fast charging. So the upcoming Note devices and Galaxy S10 5G will not support this technology. According to a tweet by Max Weinbach of XDA, this technology is still under development and could be first seen on Samsung Galaxy A90. The Galaxy A90 is expected to be launched later this year.
