Samsung Galaxy S10 series renders and screen sizes leak

Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus

Samsung will be launching the Galaxy S10 flagship series next year and even got certified from a Russian website. Today, reliable tipster Evan Blass in his official Twitter handle @evleaks published three renders that are supposed to be the upcoming Galaxy S10 line-up from Samsung. However, the tweet mentions that the renders are based in a case manufacturer’s expectations.

According to the renders, the lowest and the most affordable Galaxy S10 Lite codenamed Beyond 0 will come with a 5.8-inch display while the regular Galaxy S10 codenamed Beyond 1 will feature a 6.1 display. The highest model Galaxy S10+ codenamed Beyond 2 will have a 6.4-inch display. The S10 Lite and S10 comes with a single cut-out hole for the camera in the middle while the S10+ seems to sport two holes for dual camera set up at the front. Though the renders seem to based on rumors another tipster Ice Universe confirms the screen sizes in a reply to the post.

However, the images seem to disagree with the renders leaked earlier this week. Previous reports indicate that the Galaxy S10 will come with a side mounted fingerprint sensor while the Galaxy S10 and the S10+ will have an in-display fingerprint sensor. The under display sensor will be built from scratch by the Korean manufacturer and use ultrasonic waves to read fingerprints. There will also be triple camera setup at the rear which is placed in a horizontal arrangement. The triple camera setup is likely to have a standard lens, a telephoto lens, and a wide-angle lens. The Galaxy S10 is also said to ditch the Samsung’s Iris scanning feature for a new version of Face Unlock and will retain the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Though there is no official confirmation, the Galaxy S10 is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 8150/ Exynos 9820 chipset coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM. There is also variant rumored to feature 12GB RAM and 1TB onboard storage and another variant with 5G support. It is expected to be unveiled on the CES 2019 event that will be held from January 8 to 11 in Las Vegas.
