Today, Samsung India inaugurated the world’s largest Experience Centre in country’s tech capital. The Iconic Opera House situated on Brigade Road, Bengaluru has been restored, renovated and turned into the all-new Samsung Opera House where the company will be showcasing its top of the line mobile devices and consumer electronics along with letting users experience the amazing technologies.
The 33,000 sq ft iconic building which was used for hosting plays and Operas during the British era will now be used to showcase the full lineup of smartphones and wearable devices. The company will also be displaying their flagship electronics products like the QLED TV, Smart TVs, The Frame, and Family Hub Refrigerators. There will be a separate section in the Home Appliances zone where a chef will be demonstrating live cooking sessions using the company’s kitchen appliances like the Samsung Smart Oven.
Customers will also be offered mobile accessories such as covers, power banks, screen protectors, 360 body protectors and cases with an option of customization via design/text through laser engraving for the smartphones. Moreover, the store will also be keeping audio products from Harman Kardon and JBL for sale.
In addition to the products above, Samsung will offer consumers to get their hands on Virtual Reality (VR), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) including exclusive VR experiences like “4D Sway Chair” or the “Whiplash Pulsar 4D chair” that makes 360-degrees three-dimensional movements, based on the brands philosophy of #DiscoverTomorrowToday.
“Today’s consumers, especially millennials, seek unique experiences. They want to interact with the brand, touch, feel and create. This is what Samsung Opera House is about. We have curated never seen before experiences that will excite people of all age groups alike. Opera House will also organize workshops, activities and events, bringing together Samsung’s innovations with people’s passions. We are proud of the transformation that this place has seen,” said Mr HC Hong, President & CEO, Samsung SouthWest Asia in his press release.
This crucial step will definitely help the South Korean giant in tightening its roots throughout the country. Recently, they invested Rs 4,915 crore for the expansion of its Noida plant to double up the production capacity from 60 to 120 million devices per year, making it World’s biggest Mobile factory. In a word, Samsung has its largest mobile factory and experience store in India which shows the seriousness of brand for the Indian market.
