Samsung has now unveiled two new tablets in Germany, dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1. Notably, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e is the thinnest tablet in Samsung’s portfolio with a thickness of 5.5mm. It features a sleek metal body, accompanied by slim bezels, similar to the latest iPad Pro. Notwithstanding, Samsung TAb A 10.1 is a relatively affordable offering with a metal chassis. While the Tab S5e will release in Q2 2019, Tab A 10.1 will hit the market starting April 5, as of Germany.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e: Specifications, Features
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e sports a large 10.5-inch WQXGA (2560×1600 pixel) Super AMOLED display with 16:10 aspect ratio. Moreover, the slim bezels and 16:10 aspect ratio aid for an impressive 81.8% screen-to-body ratio.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 SoC, the Tab S5e incorporates 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The same can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 512GB).
Furthermore, the tablet has a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel camera up front. Surprisingly, the device runs the latest Android 9 Pie with Samsung’s UI on top out of the box. Software features like Bixby 2.0 support, Samsung DeX, Quick Command, Calls, and Messages are present on the device.
The Tab S5e gets a total of four speakers powered by Dolby Atmos technology where the hardware is tuned by AKG. There’s also a USB Type-C (Gen 3.1) port and a pogo connector for connecting external keyboard accessory.
Worth mentioning, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e is backed by a massive 7,040 mAh battery with support for fast charging. Manageable at 400grams, the tablet will be available in Black, Gold and silver colour choices.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 brings in a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio.
