Saved by the Bell is an upcoming American streaming television sitcoms that is a sequel to the original television show Saved by the Bell that appeared on television between 1989 to 1993. Sam Bobrick created the show while Tracey Wigfield developed it.

Tracey Wigfield, Franco Bario, Peter Engel, and Mark-Paul Gosselaar worked as the executive producers for the series while Universal Production and NBCUniversal Television Distribution worked as the production company and distribution company respectively.

IMDb details the plot of the series as such:

“A follow-up series to the 1990s sitcom. A group of California low-income high school students are transferred to Pacific Palisades’ wealthy Bayside High, following a program by California Governor Zack Morris.”

Elizabeth Berkeley plays Jessie Spano, who is the Guidance Counselor at Bayside High, and also the mother of Jamie. Mario Lopez plays A.C. Slater, a coach and P.E. teacher at Bayside High. John Michael Higgins plays Principal Toddman, the head of Bayside High.

Haskiri Velazquez plays Daisy, a sophomore who attends Bayside High because her local school shut down. She is very excited about attending a wealthy school. Mitchell Hogg plays Mac Morris, the son of Governor Zack Morris and Kelly Kapowski. Josie Totah plays Lexi, a cheerleader.

Mark-Paul Gosselaar plays Zack Morris, the Governor of California and formerly a student of Bayside High School. Alycia Pascual-Pena plays Aisha, Daisy’s fun loving friend who is also very competitive. She decides to play football at Bayside which causes problems for her.

Belmont Cameli plays Jamie Spano, the captain of the football team at Bayside and son of Jessie. Tiffani Thiessen plays Kelly Kapowski, the First Lady of California.
