Sea of Thieves New Update, Haunted Shores and Many More!

Sea of Thieves is an adventure game released by Xbox Game Studios and produced by Rare in 2018. The player plays the role of a pirate who completes the adventures of various shipping firms to become the greatest pirate legend.

The game is characterized as a “shared-world adventure game,” which means that groups of players must visit each other periodically during their adventures.

The game has been a commercial success and received more than 10 million players as of January 2020. Microsoft launched this game for Windows and Xbox One in March 2018. It was one of the first-party titles released for users of Xbox Game Pass.

The game generally received positive feedback at release, with reviewers praising ship combat, multiplayer gameplay, graphics, and physics of gameplay.

Update

Rare has launched a new free update, dubbed Haunted Shores, for the pirate sandbox Sea of Thieves. This update brings in the form of phantom ghost ships. Such ghost ships are often more aggressive than their ancestor and at enemies ship, they can fire wraiths. Players will be able to plunder their cursed cannonballs, which are much more strong than the normal pirate cannonballs used to.

Such frail yet dangerous ships are protecting Captain Flameheart, aboard the flagship of Burning Sword. Players will win special Damned prizes and cosmetic bonuses from the experience.

Players can wage a two-way battle with the ghost fleet. The first is noticing Captain Flameheart’s skull in the skies; this demonstrates he’s targeting an island, and gamers can move forward to protect it from his armada. The second is level 25 or higher with the Order of Souls, which will require players to buy a trip to find and avoid a fleet of ghosts.

Sea of Thieves has been there for a few years now but its latest Steam update has opened it up to a whole new user culture. Rare has also published a new player guide to help beginners learn their sea legs quickly.

Finally, the upgrade to the Haunted Shores carries lots of fresh loot to purchase with it. There are a variety of new emotes, including a free one, a complete Blighted Set of ship apparel, and animal costumes. The Treasure Curse Collectors are a lot cuter overall.
