Sex Education Renewed for Season 3: Release Date, Trailer and Trivia!

Netflix original show Sex Education has been renewed for another season which will be its season three! The show released its second season in January 2020 and the first season in January 2019. The series so far has 16 episodes with a run time of 45-50 minutes each.

Netflix after releasing the second season was delighted to announce that the show will be returning with a season three! In fact, the shooting for season three ha started but was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic. The season three shooting went to a halt due to the health threat the virus pertained.

The show will be resuming its shooting for season three in August 2020 amidst the pandemic. The crew and cast of the show said that they are ready to take the challenge of shooting during the pandemic and will take utmost care of social distancing and quarantine norms.

The cast of the show is super thrilled to get back on set and start the shooting. The fans too are excited and are eagerly waiting Since the for season three of this wonderful and extremely entertaining teen tv-series! Since the shooting will resume in August, season three is likely to be released in 2021 and not before that.

There is no official trailer for season three yet and no information has been given regarding any new cast member but here is the list of people we will be seeing for sure, Otis (Asa Butterfield), Jean (Gillian Anderson), Maeve (Emma Mackey), Aimee (Aimee Lou Wood), Adam (Connor Swindells), Jackson (Kedar Williams-Stirling), Ola (Patricia Allison), Lily (Tanya Reynolds), Headmaster Groff (Alistair Petrie), and Ncuti Gatwa as Eric, who was recently nominated for a BAFTA in the Best Male Performance in a Comedy Series category.

The show has done wonderful and critics have given it a thumbs up for its script and for the acting done by the actors. It has received 8.3/10 from IMBd and is loved by the fans.
