Sex Education is a comedy-drama series that airs on Netflix. This series has a huge fanbase worldwide and is greatly loved by all. This show is very light-hearted and easy on people, for some it could be a feel-good one! The first season was released in 2019 and there were around 40 million viewers streaming it immediately and the second season was released on 17 January 2020.
Sex Education Season 3 Release Date
Sources said that Sex Education has been renewed for a third season but the dates are not confirmed. Initially, the third season was speculated to release sometime in 2021 but owing to COVID 19, the shooting of all series and movies has been pushed back. So, the wait for season 3, unfortunately, will be a long one.
Cast For Season 3
The main characters are mostly said to be retained. There is no other information on the cast for the third season apart from this. Asa Butterfield(Otis), Ncuti Gatwa(Eric), Emma Mackey(Maeve), and Gillian Anderson(Jean Milburn) are mostly going to retained in season 3 as they form the main cast.

The Story So Far
The basic story in Sex Education is that Jean Milburn is a sex therapist and her son Otis struggles with accepting her profession and her interference in his ‘sexual life’. In the first season, Otis gives sexual advice to Adam, the school bully, and then Maeve suggests that they both run a sex clinic in school with Otis giving out advice and her working on the logistics. She proposes that they split the profit as she is in need of money. Their sex clinic soon gains popularity and through this Maeve and Otis become good friends and she starts developing feelings for him. So, in the final episode of Season 1, when she goes to confess her feelings to Otis; she sees him kissing Ola and disgusted by the sight she just leaves the place.
Season 2 is filled with an equal amount of drama. After his breakup with Ola, Otis throws a party to prove to her and Eric that he can be chill and fun-loving. At the party he gets super drunk and delivers a speech, insulting Ola and Maeve. Later on, he realizes how stupid his behavior was and sends an apology message to Maeve, telling her how much he loves her but Isaac deletes this message and sends Otis away when he comes to see Maeve.
Fans were hugely disappointed by the finale of season 2 and desperately need answers. Will their favorite pair Maeve and Otis ever get together? Will Maeve ever find out about the text message? Is anything going to happen between Maeve and Isaac? But there’s a long wait ahead of us for the answers!
I am a passionate writer just trying to figure out life and myself. Writing has always been a way of expressing myself, hence most of my work is pretty raw and unprocessed. I try my best to be unapologetic about what I write. This internship in ByProduct Ventures has allowed me to push myself and see what all I am capable of. I have always pictured the future me as someone very creative and this opportunity takes me one step towards that. Apart from writing, I also love expressing myself by painting or drawing. All I want from life is to keep learning, falling and rising and to live every moment like it is my last! (aditigautam1705@gmail.com)
