Shadow and Bone Plot and Cast
Shadow and Bone is based on the story of young Alina Starkov, an orphan and cartographer of the Ravka nation’s First Army, as she discovers she is a Grisha, one with special gifts, and one long-awaited to address a dire need in the universe.
The first season adapts Shadow and Bone and along with an original story featuring the Crows, a criminal gang for which the eponymous ideology is named. The second season will adapt Siege and Storm, and another original storyline featuring the Crows.
In the upcoming season, Alina and Mal will likely be on the run from the Darkling, who will want revenge and Alina’s power. The Crows will be summoned for one of the biggest heists in history. We’re also going to meet some new and important characters in the new season.

Shadow and Bone was renewed for a second season in 2021 and it is now confirmed to premiere sometime in 2023. The makers have officially announced that the second season is scheduled to primer on March 16, 2023.
The upcoming season might consist of eight episodes like the first season. The series is produced by 21 Laps Entertainment, Chronology, and Loom Studios.
